Tree & Vine: Hops

With the recent interest in Craft Beers, farmers are using Trident soil fumigation to control symphylans, verticillium, and nematodes before new hop fields are planted. These pathogens can stunt the development of the hop plants and harm yield potential.

Fields should be properly tested for nematodes and other pathogens in plenty of time before planting a new field for hop production. Contact your Trident representative to protect your fields.

Reduce Pesticides

Start cleaning out nematodes and other soil borne diseases and you have healthier plants resisting disease and reducing topical pesticide use. Fumigating with Trident is the only option for many soil borne diseases. There is no residue with Trident Fumigation applied underground, dissipating before the crop is planted.
